Elizabeth Yeamans and Paul Simrell are the founders of Dash and Doodles Productions. Creators of the webcomic, "Queen Marguerite the Sweet," their studio is located in Glen Allen, Virginia.
Elizabeth Yeamans – a freelance writer, specializes in humorous verse, with a special interest in medieval and European history. A Francophile, she has studied in Paris at the Sorbonne and now brings her knowledge of French and English history and culture to the comic pages. A lover of puns and word play, her writing reflects her wit and cultural interests alike.
Paul Simrell – has been cartooning since the ripe old age of five. His cartoons are published as editorial panels, advertising illustration, and traditional gag cartoons. An admirer and student of the "golden age" of comic strips, he creates characters of a gentle and friendly nature. In a world that is often harsh and sarcastic, Simrell offers a bit of "family friendly" entertainment.
In addition to their on-line comic strip "Queen Marguerite the Sweet," Dash and Doodles Productions offers custom designed art and writing services and a line of humorous gift products. Visit their online store at Cafe Press.
